This is Eric O. Nelson Sr. , with his 1922 Nash six 5 passenger Sports
Model Touring.
Dad was very proud of his "new Nash". He was an employee of Nash at
this time, grinding crankshafts. He boasted of the accessories he had
on it. The wire wheels, the Moto Meter, the wind wings, the center
mounted spotlight, & heater, etc.
It was maroon in colour, he said standard equipment was a baseball bat
on the floor, to "beat" the ladies off of it! I wonder if it was the
Nash, or him?
This car was used in his "Bootlegging" booze from IL to the "thirsty"
Swedes in Kenosha. He claimed it to be a very fast car!
