1928 NASH, Model 360 Royal.

After three years, my 1928 coupe is 99% done. It is one of not many survivors of Advanced Sixes from 1928 that had the optional "Royal" package which included side mount spare wheels with tire covers, a trunk rack, and a sidemount mirror if the wheels were wire. The wheels are indeed 20" Nash wire wheels with the snap rings on the back side. If you look at one of the color sales brochures from 1928, you will see this color option pictured on the model 360 coupe and referred to as "ebony & ivory". All of this has been part of what has made restoring this car interesting and worth it.

All of the credit for the restoration work itself go to Everett Adams and his crew at Adams Custom Engines in Sparks, Nevada.

( Take a look at www.adamscustomengines.com to see a complete set of restoration photos. )

My part was to make sure that everyone was working toward getting the car back to original condition based on my own research and experience with my other Nashes. Hopefully I succeeded in that. Obviously, I had a lot of help from some very fine craftsmen. Also, finding the missing trunk rack proved to me a very large challenge and should also make for interesting reading when I can get a story together for the "Nash Times".

My pictures show a "before" photo, an ad from 1928, a photo of the Seaman Body Plate, and three photos of the completed car.
