1932 NASH

1932 Nash, Nine Seventy, Model 970, 5 passenger, 8 cyl, 4 Door, Sedan.

The show in Palm Desert was a good show. Very few cars for the 20-40 era. Mostly sports cars and the marquee was Maseratti, which will be a theme at many concours events this year. The class they put the 32 Nash into was Prewar Classic with all the full CCCA classics. We didn't place but showed very well.
The judging was what they call the "French" style so it is not based on points or restoration condition but rather on the story of the car and the feeling the judges got with the presentation of the car.
The cars that won in my class were a 31-V16 cadillac convertible (1st place) 1934 Packard V12 convertible and a 34 cord convertible. There were only 2 sedans one unrestored 30 Buick and the Nash. The 1922 Duesenberg that was also in our class won peolpes choice and the 1934 Packard which came in second in our class won best of show.

We will continue to showing the 32 Nash - La Jolla and San Marino and are working to finish the 31 880 Nash to show in Santa Fe in September.

I'am still looking for a locking exterior door handle for my 31 880.
