Someone who restored my car in the past took the generator
off and has replaced it with an alternator which is clearly visible.

A photo of the door sill on the driver's side. It is bare as you can see.
I have a friend who has a 1926 Advanced 6 tourer and the door sills on his car
have an embossed aluminum tread plate (or whatever one calls it) that is about
1 1/2 inches wide and about 2 ft long with the Nash logo in raised
letters in the middle. I don't see any signs that mine has had that. Does yours
have anything like that?

A photo of the top of the driver's side door. All 4 doors on my car
have a inset cavity that seem to have been some door restraining device that
may have been affixed to the body. Most of the inserts have a spring remaining
in them. Do you have these?

Inside of the dash board. I haven't seen another car the same
as mine yet and the photos of other Nash's I've seen don't seem to have exactly
the same instrument panel as mine. I think that actual front dash board
is a replacement but the actual gauge panel seems to be an original.

The gauges are all Stewart Warner. I would be
interested to know how mine compares with yours.

Since I live in Australia my car is RH drive and so compared to yours the steering column is on the RH side. Also someone who restored my car in the past took the generator off and has replaced it with an alternator which is clearly visible. I have a manual (Nash Cars Information Book 1928: Book Number X-2 ;a reproduction) for 1928 Nash vehicles and although there are pictures in it of the engine compartment they aren't clear enough for emailing. However as far as I can tell the arrangement is the same with the location of the alternator vs generator. If these photos aren't clear enough I'll have another go at them during daylight this weekend. While I was at it taking photos I also took 2 photos inside of the dash board. I haven't seen another car the same as mine yet and the photos of other Nash's I've seen don't seem to have exactly the same instrument panel as mine. I'm not an expert on Nash's as I only bought mine about 18 months ago (more by accident - long story) but if there is anything else I can help you with send me an email.
